This month, I traveled to Orlando for a field hockey tournament. While in Florida, my friends and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to go to Disney World. Although I have been here at least a dozen times, it only gets better as I get older.
We started out the day by walking down Main Street. This walkway is an adventure in itself, with gorgeous buildings that give you the feeling that you’re entering a roaring world. Along the street, you can find many vendors, and exploring the shops is a must- you can always find a sweet to suit you!
At the end of Main Street, you’ll find the epitome of Disney (except for Mickey Mouse, that is). Cinderella’s castle is a gorgeous jewel that truly makes you feel like you’ve crossed over into the magic of Disney World.
After appreciating this beauty, we set off into Tomorrow Land to see what coasters we could ride. I highly recommend Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, which is great for competing against your friends and family. Also, Space Mountain is fantastic for roller coaster lovers. The bright lights contrasted with darkness while speeding in futuristic carts is a great experience!
Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train blew us away! This ride aims to entertain visitors on and off the ride, by providing games while you wait in line. Also, the ride was great!
Altogether, we had a joy-filled day among Mickey and his friends- thanks Disney World!
